    Glossary

    TINS HUB terminology

Short, citation-ready definitions for every term we lean on across the product and the blog. Linkable per term — /glossary#trend-score takes you straight to that entry.

    Activation Threshold

The usage milestone a referred user must reach before the referrer's reward unlocks.

    Bonus Pool

Promotional credits granted outside the regular monthly pool. They stack on top of your normal balance.

    Credit

The unit of work in TINS HUB. One credit discovers one trend with full content ideas — score, hooks, outline, and a post-or-skip decision.

    Decision Engine

The layer that turns a scored trend into a clear Post Now, Schedule, Adapt, or Skip recommendation so you don't have to evaluate ideas one by one.

    Discovery Layer

    Also: signal layer

The upstream pipeline that pulls live trend signals from search demand, social velocity, and news cycles. It surfaces candidate trends rather than finished hooks.

    Format Fit

A check on whether a trend can be produced in your usual format and production time. A great idea you can't ship in your normal cadence scores lower than a mediocre idea you can.

    Generation Layer

The step that takes scored discovery candidates and writes platform-specific hooks, outlines, and scripts in your voice. It always runs after discovery, never on raw user prompts.

    Hook

The first one to three lines (or seconds) of a post designed to stop the scroll. TINS HUB generates multiple hook variants per trend so you can A/B test without rewriting.

    Monthly Pool

The credits issued each billing cycle on paid plans. Unused monthly credits roll over for one cycle so a slow week isn't wasted.

    Multi-Platform Export

Re-generating the same trend adapted for an additional platform — for example taking a TikTok-shaped hook and rewriting it for LinkedIn or YouTube.

    Niche Profile

    Also: creator profile

A short profile of what you make, who it's for, and where you publish. TINS HUB uses it to score and personalize every trend, hook, and decision.

    Post-or-Skip

The shorthand for TINS HUB's decision output: every trend ships with a yes/no verdict so you spend less time evaluating ideas and more time creating.

    Rising / Peaking / Decaying

Lifecycle labels on each trend card. Rising means you're early, peaking means you're competing with every other creator who saw it, decaying means the window is closing.

    Rollover Credits

Unused monthly credits carried into the next billing cycle so a quiet week doesn't go to waste.

    Saved Idea

A trend you've marked for later. Saved ideas keep their original score, hooks, and decision so you can revisit them weeks later without re-spending a credit.

    Signup Bonus

A one-time pool of credits granted when you create your account. It stays in your balance until used and never expires monthly.

    Team Sharing

A Power-plan feature that lets multiple teammates join a single workspace and share the same credit pool, saved ideas, and team activity log.

    Trend Score

A 0–100 fit rating TINS HUB assigns to each trend based on how well it matches your niche, audience, geography, and platform. Higher scores mean stronger overlap with your existing content, not higher virality.

    Voice Layer

A platform-specific writing style that rewrites the same trend so each platform's output sounds native instead of cross-posted.
