    Trending on TikTok this week

This page lists the topics, sounds and formats getting outsized traction on TikTok right now. It's a generic per-platform view — not personalised to your niche — refreshed every few hours so it reflects the current week, not last month's archive.

This page lists the top content trends on TikTok for the current week. The list refreshes every few hours over a rolling seven-day window. Each entry includes a momentum signal and a short "why now" explanation.

How we score trends on TikTok

On TikTok we weight momentum heavily: a topic posted thousands of times last week matters less than one accelerating sharply over the last 48 hours. We then dedupe near-identical angles so the list isn't five flavours of the same trend.

    • Velocity of sound and format use over the rolling window
    • Comment-to-view ratio as a proxy for genuine engagement
    • Spread across distinct accounts (not just one creator's loop)
    • Whether the trend still has runway, or already feels saturated

    Trending on TikTok: frequently asked

How often is TikTok trending data updated?

We refresh every public trending list roughly every six hours, over a rolling seven-day window — so what you see is current without flipping on every viral spike. Each TikTok list shows the timestamp of the last refresh and a countdown to the next one at the top of the page.

How should I read the TikTok trend cards?

Each card has a title (the trend itself), a short "why now" explanation, and a signal meter (one to three bars) showing momentum. Whether to post, plan, or skip is your call — we don't pretend to know your audience better than you do.

How is this different from TikTok's own Trending tab?

TikTok's in-app trending is largely driven by your watch history and region. This page is the opposite — an audience-agnostic snapshot designed to surface topics worth posting about, with a written 'why now' for each so you can decide quickly whether it fits your niche.

Can I use these trends commercially?

Yes. The on-page trends and the free embeddable widget are free to use, including on commercial sites, as long as you keep the TINS HUB attribution visible and you don't re-host, redistribute, or use the data to train AI models. Full terms live in §10a of our Terms of Service.

How is this different from the personalized trends in the app?

This public page shows a generic per-platform list with no audience targeting. Signed-in TINS HUB members get trends scored for their specific niche, audience, geography and format, with ready-to-post hooks and outlines for each idea — that's the paid product.
